In 2007, I was asked to serve as Barack Obama’s Pennsylvania primary photographer. With Pennsylvania a key battleground, his campaign made Philadelphia its home for several months. At that early stage, the team had neither a dedicated photographer nor a library of images for campaign materials.
It became a pivotal chapter in my life and career, traveling with the press corps, documenting the campaign, and learning alongside some of the best photojournalists in the world. I’ll forever be grateful for the opportunity to document history.
